About Me
🥷 A self-taught, semi-wild programmer who came into tech a bit unconventionally.
⌨️ Started out in game development, but curious about many fields.
🎒 Spent years in school – only to realize most of what I know came from self-learning.
🍵 Used to love fitness and travel. These days, I’m all about the cozy indoor life.
🐱 Forever an animal lover.
📚 Forever a book lover.
About This Site
Content
Back when I was more of an artsy type, I enjoyed sharing bits of my personal life. These days, I focus on documenting my learning and work.
The Name: Nullshow
null stands for “empty”—a reflection of how I view life, and a reminder to always keep a beginner’s mindset.
show sounds like part of my Chinese name. The pronunciation of Nullshow is close to a childhood nickname, which brings back memories of carefree days.
Illustrations
All category illustrations come from Feng Zikai (1898–1975), a pioneer of Chinese comic art. His works are drawn from everyday life—simple, expressive, and full of childlike charm. He was from the same hometown as me. Using his art is both a tribute and a reminder to stay mindful of the beauty in daily life, beyond study and work.
Gratitude
This site was built with inspiration and silent help from many brilliant minds online. It’s made me truly appreciate the power of open-source and sharing. In this era of technological revolution, AI is making everything simpler and faster. I hope I’m not just swept along by the tide – but riding the wave with intention.
Thanks for joining me on this journey in such an exciting time.
